Dr. Rob Donaldson

PRINCIPAL DENTIST
b.d.sc.(w.a)

Principal dentist graduated from U.W.A in 1983. Perth born and educated, Rob has been in general private practice in Carine for 27 years.

Rob has a special interest in aesthetic restorative dentistry to help patients achieve healthy life long dentitions. Rob is a member of the Australian Dental Association, Australim Endodontic, Prosthodontic and Osseo integration Societies. He attends numerous postgraduate programmes and enjoys keeping up to date with new technology and better treatments that will improve the wellbeing of his patients.

Rob has three adult children and likes a bit of golf and swimming to keep fit.

Dr. Michelle Davidson

DENTIST
BDSc JCU

Michelle graduated with her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from James Cook University in 2017. She then spent time working in the Northern Territory helping to provide dental services to both regional centers and remote communities.

In 2020, adventure called, and Michelle moved to Canada where she continued to work as a dentist whilst exploring the mountains on her weekends, before returning to Australia and settling here in Perth.

Michelle believes that a healthy mouth contributes to overall health and likes to take the time listening to her patients to understand and work toward their end goals.

She continues to further her education with courses in various dental disciplines including fillings, crowns, oral surgery and endodontics to keep her knowledge up to date and aims to make dental treatment as comfortable as possible for her patients.

Outside of dentistry, Michelle loves the outdoors, whether that be exploring around Perth or pottering away in the garden.

Dr. Scott Minson

Scott graduated from the University of Western Australia with honours in Dentistry and joined Dental Care @ Carine in 2014. Amazing to many people Scott truly likes being a Dentist.

He loves providing people with excellent quality work and a dental experience that surprises them with how stress free it can be.

He has interests in all aspects of dental work which include: fillings, crown and bridge, implants, orthodontics (ie. Invisalign), kids dentistry, extractions, root canals, periodontics (gum disease), and dentures.

Scott’s thoroughly enjoys working with each patient to get the right treatment and results for them. Scott has a wonderful and supportive wife and three lovely children. Out of work he enjoys various outdoor activities with the family.

Bec Harding

ORAL HEALTH THERAPIST

Bec has been involved In dental care for over 16 years. She started assisting while studying in Melbourne and completed her Bachelor of Oral Health at the University of Melbourne in 2007.

She has worked in specialist Paediatric dental practice before moving to Perth to settle down with her Perth born husband and the pair have two lovely children.

As an Oral Health Therapist, Bec loves working with children and keeping them in good dental health. Sometimes it is difficult getting the kids to leave Bec’s room after their appointment as they are having so much fun!

Dr Johnnie T Lam

DENTIST

After growing up in Perth’s northern suburbs and then graduating from the University of Western Australia in 2005, Johnnie set out to gain valuable experience in private practice and countless hours of continuing education before starting up his own successful dental practice in Joondalup.

His practice focused on cosmetic rehabilitation and oral surgery including wisdom teeth extractions and implant placements. He is a member of the Australian Dental Association and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

In 2015, he was given the amazing opportunity of moving to Paris with his wife to study and subsequently packed up and moved his life for 18 months. Since his return to Perth, he is relishing being able to look after the fantastic patients we see at Dental Care at Carine surrounded by an amazing team. Johnnie goes home to his lovely wife and two kids and looks for any excuse to be outdoors!"

Rachael Richards

ORAL HEALTH THERAPIST

Rachael graduated from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Science majoring in Oral Health therapy in 2014. Rachael moved over to QLD to complete her graduate program in the small rural town of Mackay.

There she helped build a community project within the public dental health system, to bring in children under the age of 5 Years for early examination and prevention of dental disease.

With two young boys of her own- Sonny and Fin, Rachael knows the importance of creating good dental habits early and is pro-active about early detection and prevention. Outside of work Rachael enjoys playing netball in winter and boxing for fun.

Dr. John Hearne

John graduated from U.W.A in 1980 then travelled and worked overseas before having his own successful private practice in Subiaco for over 20 years.

John enjoys practising at Dental Care @ Carine which shares his philosophy of educating patients restoring their mouth with quality treatment and helping them maintain long term oral health.

A member of the Australian Dental Association, John is also a member of dental volunteer organisations which provide essential treatment to the underprivileged both overseas and locally.

John has also undertaken extensive post graduate studies with a special interest in oral rehabilitation and disease prevention, dental implants and aesthetic dentistry.

Away from the practice, John has 3 children and 3 grandchildren. He enjoys travelling and exploring new countries and their culture. John also plays tennis and golf.

Maya Janik

Maya completed her Bachelor of Science, majoring in Oral Health Therapy at Curtin University. Prior to that she was working as a Dental Assistant and has been in the industry since 2008.

Maya is passionate about oral health and has a strong commitment to providing patient centred care with an emphasis on promoting overall health. Understanding that dentistry is not a one size fits all service, she strives to educate patients on how they can best maintain their oral health.

As an Oral Health therapist, Maya’s main focus is creating a safe environment where children have a positive experience at the dentist. Outside of work Maya enjoys watching movies and cuddling her gorgeous dog.

Paul is one of Perth’s most experienced “Crown and Bridge dental technician”. Locally trained and qualified, Paul been in the industry since 1988. Recently Paul relocated his laboratory (Fremantle Ceramics) to be alongside the clinicians at Dental Care @ Carine.

This relocation will further enhance the patient experience with even better communication and service.

Whether patients need crowns, veneers, bridge or implant prostheses, Paul and his team pride themselves on producing dental work of the highest standards.
